Privacy Policy
The short version
Your work stays on your phone. Ask Lindz™ has no accounts and no login. Your quiz answers, results, checklist progress, chat history, and settings are stored only in your own browser's local storage on your own device. We do not receive them, cannot see them, and cannot recover them — which is why the app gives you a free backup file feature.
1. What we collect
- Nothing automatically. The app runs as static files. We use no analytics SDKs, no advertising trackers, and no third-party behavioral tracking. Our hosting provider (Vercel) generates standard server logs (such as IP address and requested page) to deliver and secure the site.
- If you buy: checkout happens on Whop, our payment platform. Whop collects your payment and account details under Whop's own privacy policy. We receive what we need to service your purchase (such as order status), not your full payment card details.
- If you contact us: we receive whatever you send to watsonlegacygroup@gmail.com and use it only to help you.
2. Read-along voice
The read-along feature uses your device's built-in speech synthesis. The text is spoken by your phone itself. Nothing is recorded, nothing is transmitted to us or to any voice service, and no microphone is used — the feature only speaks, it never listens.
3. Files you save or download
Plans, templates, checklists, lane cards, and backup files are generated on your device and saved directly to your own storage. We never receive a copy of anything you create or download.
4. Chat
The Ask Lindz chat is rule-based and runs entirely in your browser. Your messages are matched to responses on your device and saved only to your device's local storage so the conversation persists for you. They are not sent to us or to any AI provider.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage (not tracking cookies) to save your progress and settings on your device. Clearing your browser data erases it; the free backup feature exists so you can save your progress first.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only with service providers who make the product work (hosting, payments), or if required by law.
7. Children
Ask Lindz™ is a business-education product for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact watsonlegacygroup@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your choices and rights
You control everything stored in the app through Settings (backup, restore, reset). For anything involving us directly — support emails or purchase records — you can request access or deletion at watsonlegacygroup@gmail.com, subject to records we must keep for tax, dispute, and legal obligations. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law; we honor valid requests.
9. Changes
If the product's architecture ever changes in a way that changes this policy — for example, adding accounts or an AI-powered chat that sends messages to a server — we will update this page with a new effective date before that change goes live.
